The Repair Process

Step 1: Receiving your products

Once received we book in your Faulty products onto our database Log and Tag them with tracking barcodes.

Step 2: Assigning an Engineer

An engineer will be assigned and will carry out a physical examination and if any damage has been found inform you of our findings.

Step 3: Determining the fault

Following the examination a full array of tests will be carried out to determine the fault or confirm the customers complaint.

Step 4: Further diagnosis

Once you are happy for us to repair the kit we will start further diagnosis to narrow the fault to a particular area or device and if necessary order parts required.

Step 5: Repairing and Testing

Parts will be fitted and if successful a full array of tests will be run for a sufficient amount of time a printout will also be logged.

Step 6: Shipping

You will be informed about your repaired products. The products will then be carefully packaged for return and tracking and warranty information sent to you.

What faults can you repair?

No Power or Pulsing

If your product doesn’t turn on and appears to be dead. We will investigate the reason for no power. Causes are most likely a faulty power supply which we can repair or replace. Possibly a faulty on board rail / power supply.

No Console or No lights

Maybe your product powers on but produces no console with potentially no leds indicating a boot process is underway. This type of fault could be faulty memory sims or onboard memory or even a BGA (Ball Grid Array) soldered device. We have all the technical equipment to undertake this.

No POE (Power Over Ethernet) or No Data Link

Common faults with faulty network ports come in various forms. Maybe a port has a faulty POE  device on one or more ports a common repair we undertake. Or possibly a port that doesn’t link or pass data another common repair for us.

Software problems or licencing issues

If your product has had an upgrade fail and caused corruption or possibly lost its activation. We carry and have backups of a hole variety of network products ready to repair customers units.

Physical damage

We also carry out physical damage to casings, RJ45 / SFP ports, Fans, Power supplies and much more. We can also fit bushings or replace handles from our large stock of parts.
